Throughout her career, founder Jessica Baez Tobin witnessed firsthand that an organization’s greatest challenges rarely exist in isolation. A fundraising need can reveal an operational challenge. The Tobinez name began years ago with something simple and personal: a playful nickname Jessica gave her husband. What began as an inside joke between two people eventually became the inspiration for a name that felt unmistakably personal when Jessica set out to build the firm.
But the story behind the Tobinez Advisors identity reaches back another generation.
The fleur-de-lis woven into the brand honors Jessica’s grandfather and the entrepreneurial spirit that helped shape her. His example instilled values that have remained with her throughout her life and career: perseverance, loyalty, honesty, trust, and an unwavering work ethic.
Together, these two very personal influences became part of the foundation of Tobinez Advisors: a love of family, a respect for hard work, the importance of trusted relationships, and the belief that the most meaningful things in life and in business are rarely built alone.
